It started with the legendary medicine plant.
In the late 70’s, four scientists in seperate laboratories conducted research with
a similar mission. They investigated natural plants, not commonly used for food,
to discover nutrients that would result in better health and longevity.
In California, Dr. Christopher Hills discovered one of nature’s most nutritious
foods, spirulina. In Canada, Dr. Albert Zehr combined herbs with natural sourced
vitamins and minerals to create a line of high quality supplements. In Texas, Dr.
J. Lee Phelps researched natural ingredients and manufactured nutritional products.
Meanwhile, Clinton Howard formed a research team that uncovered the true healing
properties of a legendary plant, Aloe Vera. His innovative researc and commitment
to discovery led him to be known as the “Father of Aloe Vera.”
Deeply touched by
a nursing home visit to see his Mother, Howard began his quest to prove that “life
didn’t have to end this way.” Building on the knowledge of Doctors Hills, Zehr and
Phelps plus the experiences he had gleaned from his aloe research, he founded a
company to make effective aloe products for the public.
That company grew to become
RBC Life and now offers more than 60 products to help people live longer, healthier
lives.
