RBC Life is a global wellness company whose proprietary and evidence-based nutritional
supplements and body care products are poised to capture a significant portion of
the estimated trillion-dollar wellness boom. Located in suburban Dallas, the company
operates from a 119,000-square-foot facility that has an in-house laboratory run
by a dedicated research and development team.
The company's founder, Clinton Howard, is an icon within the medical and wellness
communities. During the 1980s, he assembled a research team to crack the age-old
mystery behind the health-giving properties of the Aloe vera plant. Sages for centuries
have sung the praises of the so-called "medicine plant", but the source of its health-giving
benefits remained an enigma. Four years and $20 million in research later, Howard's
team isolated the Aloe vera's most-active ingredient.
Armed with this profound knowledge of the plant's benefits and a method of harvesting
Aloe vera so that its ingredients remain active, Howard founded RBC Life Sciences
in 1991. The name of the network marketing arm of the company was changed to RBC
Life to better reflect its community-based aspect. Howard incorporated many of Aloe
vera's 200 beneficial compounds in a new line of nutritional supplements and skin
care products. Today, the company offers more than 75 evidence-based wellness, fitness
and skin care products that contain the most-beneficial ingredients nature offers.
